Matthew Dews

Principal Engineer & QLD Discipline Leader – Geotechnical
B.Eng (Civil Hons), MIEAust, CPEng, RPEQ, NER

Matthew joined Engeny in September 2019 and is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer. Matthew has experience in the civil and infrastructure sector across design, design management and site supervisory roles.

Matthew has major project experience in linear infrastructure projects, inclusive of road and rail, bulk earthworks, earth retaining structures, landslide identification and remediation, tailings and water storage dams, construction supervision and contract administration.

Matthew is an experienced design manager, team leader and discipline leader. He has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).

Matthew is also a trained and accredited assessor for Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) slope risk assessments.
