David Sexton

Principal Engineer & QLD Discipline Leader – Flood, Stormwater & Waterway Management
BE (Env) BSc, MIEAust, RPEQ

David joined Engeny in November 2012 and is a principal environmental engineer/ scientist with experience in geomorphology, WSUD, waterway health enhancement, natural channel design, integrated water cycle management, civil design and fish passage.

David has worked within all facets of engineering with practice in concept and detailed design, project management, design management and construction liaison. He is involved in a number of projects for local government, development and mining clients assuming the role of either project manager or senior engineer.

David Sexton has a special interest and expertise in:
  • geomorphology investigations and reviews including diversion inspections
  • waterway health enhancement and stabilisation of waterways
  • fish passage design
  • planning, design and construction liaison of a number of WSUD assets
  • project management of a number of large multidisciplinary design projects.
