Brendan’s unique blend of skills has been developed from his roles as a Closure Specialist at BHP, Experimental Scientist at CSIRO Land and Water, an Earth Scientist at ANSTO, Senior Environmental Consultant at Landloch, Environmental Specialist at BHP Peak Downs, a Project Officer with Serve-Ag (an agricultural consultancy), a regulator with DERM, Visiting Fellow at ANU, and as a PhD researcher.

Brendan Roddy has a special interest and expertise in:
  • Extensive expertise in many aspects of mine site rehabilitation, especially as it relates to landform design to ensure safe, stable, and sustainable rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Wide research experience (both design and execution) along with a large network of subject experts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team or independently to achieve goals.
  • Practical knowledge of mining and a wide range of practical life experiences.
