Engeny Welcomes Principal Geotechnical Engineer

Engeny Water Management is thrilled to announce the recent addition to our Brisbane based civil and geotechnical team, Matthew Dews.

Matthew Dews is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer with Engeny Water Management. Matthew has nearly 15 years of experience in the civil and infrastructure sector and experience in design, design management and site supervisory roles. Matthew has major project experience in linear infrastructure projects, inclusive of both road and rail, bulk earthworks, earth retaining structures, landslide identification and remediation, tailings and water storage dams, construction supervision and contract administration. Matthew is an experienced design manager and team / discipline leader. He has a bachelor degree in civil engineering and is a Chartered Professional (CPEng) and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). Matthew is also a trained and accredited assessor for Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) slope risk assessments. He has a special interest and expertise in:

  • Bulk earthworks, inclusive of material re-use
  • Landslide identification and remediation
  • Slope stabilization
  • Earth retaining structures
  • Road and rail
  • Water retaining structures
